Boulder, CO, April 30, 2008 - Intuicom, Inc. has introduced the C1000μ, an ultra-small spread spectrum OEM RF transceiver module that features a data communications range of up to 60 miles and up to a 1.2 Mbits/s data rate.

Packaged in a 2.00 x 1.42 x 0.38-inch (LxWxH) footprint and weighting 18 grams, the C1000μ targets military/aerospace instruments and commercial systems where size, weight, and power consumption are critical design issues. The RF transceiver module is well-suited for unmanned vehicles, robotics, and portable devices.

The radio module delivers low power consumption (6 mA at 3.3 Vdc, sleep mode) and is configurable as a master, slave, repeater, or slave repeater. Other features include 128-bit AES encryption and secure 900-MHz frequency hopping spread spectrum technology. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C.

The company also offers custom integration.

Pricing: Starts at $400 for single units.
Availability: The standard version with up to 115 Kbits/s throughput will be available in late Q2 2008. The high speed 1.2 Mbits/s version will begin shipping in Q4 2008.
Datasheet: C1000μ
